Cardinal Cormac Murphy-O'Connor has spoken to BBC Radio 4 this morning on an issue regarding the growing tensions in the UK between those with secular and religious beliefs.

It's a nice jesture, but marred perhaps by blaming secular approaches for the likes of Stalin and Hitler. This comes across as quite ironic really, given the kingdoms forged and wars fought in the name of 'God'.
The truth be told evil doesn't come from being religious or non-religious, i've heard countless arguements from both sides of this discussion, 'Look at the Crusades' shortly followed up by 'Yeah, and Hitlers concentration camps?'. It's a moot point as in reality both were brought about due to the failing of man himself.
Anyways worth a read. As ultimatley he is trying to break down the obvious walls that exist in the 'debate' on Science, God and all that jazzy funky stuff.
